What it is
Purnima is the fifteenth tithi of the bright fortnight, when the Moon is full. Each month’s Purnima has its own festivals.
Traditional significance
Many families perform Satyanarayan Puja, fast, or take a holy dip. It is a natural time for gratitude and for completing what has been begun.
