What it is
Neptune is retrograde for about five months each year. Symbolically, a time to reflect on dreams, intuition and compassion.
Dates
Neptune appears to move backwards from Tuesday, 7 July 2026 until Sunday, 13 December 2026.
Retrograde motion is an apparent effect: as Earth overtakes a planet (or a planet overtakes Earth), it seems to move backwards against the stars. Astrological meanings are traditional and symbolic, not scientific predictions.
